Lead Android Engineer specializing in Android platform architecture, native media systems, and performance-focused mobile engineering. Built ExoPlayer playback stacks with NDK-based audio integration, shipped fintech monetization flows with double-digit conversion lifts, and launched a Play Store app to 5,000+ users in its first month. Experienced across consumer, fintech, and media products, with depth in playback, performance, and AI-assisted engineering workflows.

ANDROID SYSTEMS I’VE WORKED ON
A compact technical view of the Android systems I’ve worked across before the deeper experience breakdown.
01
Native media work across ExoPlayer, HLS, foreground-service playback, notification controls, Feed/Reels video, caching, playback state, rendering, export flows, and NDK-based audio integration.
02
High-traffic Android journeys where reliability and UX affect business metrics: onboarding, payments, checkout, savings, booking, deep links, dynamic home, and app update flows.
03
Android architecture and delivery ownership across modular setup, dependency injection, state management, reusable patterns, release quality, AI-assisted workflows, and small-team execution.

Lead Android Developer
August 2025 - May 2026
Built Android platform architecture and native media systems for a 0-to-1 media product. The work covered native ExoPlayer playback, foreground-service media controls, Compose + StateFlow player UI, Feed and Reels playback migration, NDK-based JUCE audio integration, native creation tools, and AI-assisted engineering workflows.
What I owned
Native ExoPlayer playback stack, Foreground-service playback, Compose + StateFlow player UI, Feed and Reels playback migration, NDK-based JUCE audio integration, Native media creation tools, AI-assisted engineering workflows.
Proof / impact
Reduced track switching from 1.2s to near-instant playback, brought initial video playback down from 800-900ms to ~300ms, reduced editor interaction latency from 1-1.2s to sub-300ms, and helped reduce sprint spillover from 8 days to 3 days.
Personal Projects
Selected work where I shaped the problem, planned the product flow and worked through execution.
01 · SPORTS COMMUNITY PLATFORM
A community-first sports app for every sport and team a fan follows.

02 · FREELANCE PRODUCT BUILD
Custom hospital management software delivered in 45 days while leading a team of four developers.

Case Study 01
Sports community platform
A community-first sports app for every sport and team a fan follows.
Problem
FanArena is a sports community product built around a simple problem: following sports today is fragmented across score apps, social media, short videos, forums, and team-specific pages.
What I owned
Product direction, Figma flows, Android app structure, website direction and MVP planning for a community-first sports product around teams, matches, videos, forums and personalized sports engagement.
